Marlowe
To the Person who killed my pet cat Marlowe last night 20th August 2009 at approximately 6.45pm .. my sweet gentle playful 8 month old cat.
Thanks for not slowing down for a couple of seconds to let her get that last half metre to safety ..
thanks for not stopping when you knew you had hit her but showed callous disregard for her wellbeing.
Genuine thanks to the person who did stop and let me know she was terribly injured and allowed me those last precious minutes to cradle and comfort her as she was dying.
Marlowe had been rescued as a baby from starvation and neglect and had just started to trust people again but thanks to you Marlowe's time came too soon last night.
When your time comes .. remember her and I wonder if there will be someone who cares enough to be there to comfort you.
